Surprising eggs

Sometimes, females lay weird eggs. Although rare, it is well-known that eggs can sometimes be white or even pink. They would still produce normal-looking and healthy babies.

On other occasions, eggs might have an unusual size. Today, we have two interesting nests, one with a larger than normal egg, and the other one with a unusually small (dud) one. I know by experience that the dud will not hatch but I wonder about the large one.
